Event Description:

Join Stop Children’s Cancer for the 22nd Annual Holiday Traditions on Sunday, December 9th, 4:00 p.m. at the Curtis M. Phillips, M.D. Center for the Performing Arts.  This heartwarming, family-friendly event will celebrate the holiday season with a “Kids Helping Kids” approach to pediatric cancer awareness while supporting arts and music in our local community.

“Holiday Traditions combines two fantastic programs: support of music in our public schools and helping kids with cancer,” said Diane Biernacki, Chairman of this year’s event. “The concert features songs that celebrate the entire holiday season. It’s an uplifting, positive and joyful experience that everyone enjoys year after year.”

Stop Children’s Cancer is proud to once again welcome Professor R. Gary Langford, longtime conductor of the Alachua County Youth Orchestra, as the musical director.   The concert will feature talent from the Alachua County Youth Orchestra, the Gainesville Youth Chorus, Concertina & Concert and Choirs, P.K. Yonge Vocal Ensemble, Buchholz High School Select Choir and Eastside High School Concert Choir.
