July 5, 2016

If you find it hard to find a pair of sunglasses that you like on yourself, it may be due to your choosing the wrong frames for the shape of your face. First, when it comes to finding a pair that fits, your brows are a good place to start: 'If your frames are higher than the line of your eyebrows then they probably don't fit properly, the lower edge should not sit on your cheeks, even when you smile. According to fashion experts, the secret to finding the perfect pair is to choose frames that are opposite shape to your face.  In general there are 6 shapes of faces and the right frames for each. HEART: a broad forehead and tapers to a small, neat mouth and chin. So slender, rounded or square styles work best.  SQUARE: a broad, deep forehead, a wide jaw and a square chin. Oval or round frames will balance this face shape, while angular frames will emphasize angular features. ROUND: fairly short with a wide forehead and a round chin. Go for geometric shapes and angular frames.  Avoid round and oval fames as they'll make your face look rounder. LONG: long, rectangular face has high cheekbones and a deep forehead. Wide frames with a strong brow line at the top works best.  TRIANGLE: narrow at the forehead and eye line but widens at the jaw. Bold, strong shapes to add balance to the face. Avoid small, narrow frames. OVAL: a long, rounded face evenly proportioned can stylize any shape of frames.
