Rudolph & Santa From Classic 1964 Christmas Cartoon Are For Sale

December 21, 2017

The 1964 holiday-cartoon classic “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” is a tradition to watch each year and is the longest continuously running Christmas TV special in history. Now you can own a piece of priceless history as the current owner of the Rudolph and Santa puppets that appeared on the Rankin/Bass TV special for $10 million! The pair are two of several puppets used in the creation of the special, which used an iconic stop-motion technique called Animagic. The authentic wooden puppets that were made in Japan were restored in 2007 and were sold to the current owner in 2010.  Now they're up for sale to anyone willing to part with $10 million, plus $9.75 rush shipping.  And for the record, Rudolph's nose does light up! If you want to make a bid on the eBay auction, you have until 11:59 Christmas Night (12/25/17). CLICK HERE to see and bid!
