While there was no Florida team in this year's Super Bowl but it didn't stop a crazy story being created about the game that involves people in Florida.  Hence today’s “Only In Florida” report and it involves 60-year old Cheryl Merrill of Ponte Vedra Beach.  Apparently she had a strong opinion about who would win Sunday's game between the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles. Unfortunately for her boyfriend it differed from his prediction. St. Johns County Sheriff deputies reported they were called to the couple's home shortly after kickoff last Sunday night when Cheryl became enraged during an argument and threw a wooden shelf at her boyfriend of five years and injuring his hands so badly, he couldn't sign the affidavit!  During the investigation, Cheryl decided it was time to leave the scene and got into her car, where deputies had to wrangle her out of the driver's seat.  She was charged aggravated battery and is in the St. Johns County Jail and according to the deputies, she was highly intoxicated.
