Usually you store plastic wrap in a drawer or cabinet but it may be time to make space and store it in your freezer. Apparently the cold air back on the static and lets you actually tear off the piece you want and wrap up your food without the whole thing sticking to itself. If you have the space to let your plastic wrap live in there full time, that's great. If you need the space long-term, you can just pop the roll into the freezer a few minutes before you know you're going to need it. The anti-static trick works for clothing as well.  Pop in your super-staticky skirt for a few minutes and although it will take a few minutes to warm up on your body, you can confidently say goodbye to static cling!
