Fast food restaurants get most of the flap for being unhealthy but according to the Center for Science in the Public Interest, the most ridiculously calorie-filled meals are not ordered through a speaker and picked up from a window. The annual Xtreme Eating list highlights the nutritional information and found that sit-down restaurants have nothing on their fast food cousins.  For the highest calories in the morning, IHOP's Cheeseburger Omelette with side of Buttermilk Pancakes has 1,990 calories, 45 grams of saturated fat and a whopping 1,005mg of cholesterol.  That's a full day worth of calories, two days of saturated fat and four days of cholesterol-in just one meal. The worst burger goes to Buffalo Wild Wings's Cheese Curd Bacon Cheeseburger.  While the average calorie count for a back cheeseburgers hovers around 400 to 800 calories, this one has nearly 2,000 calories, 53 grams oF saturated fat and 4,700mg of sodium. If you eat that burger and the side of fries, that’s the equivalent as five Burger King Bacon Double Cheeseburgers, roughly. For the most calorie-laden menu item, aim for the Texas Roadhouse 16oz Prime Rib with loaded sweet potato and Caesar Salad. You'll be consuming 2,820 calories, 72 grams of saturated fat and an estimated 51 grams of added sugar.  By comparison, this one meal has the same calorie and saturated fat content as two 12oz New York strip steak dinners (with mashed potatoes and vegetables), and a slice of strawberry cheesecake. The biggest problem is that most of us don't know the nutritional information in the food we eat.  In 2010 Congress passed legislation for calorie counts to be posted on menus. However lobbyists for pizza chains (led by Domino’s), convenience stores, and supermarkets have convinced the current administration to not only further delay the law but to re-open it completely, in all likelihood, to weaken the legislation. But wait, there's more!  In fact [CLICK HERE] the Center for Science in the Public Interest has the complete list of foods, from appetizers to desserts to cocktails, that are secretly packing on the pounds and clogging your arteries!
