Why You Shouldn't Sail A Boat Made Out Of Duct Tape

You can do a lot with duct tape but one man found out the hard way that making a boat from it wasn't a smart move. A 32-year old Alaska man and his dog were rescued by the Coast Guard after his homemade inflatable boat, made entirely of duct tape, began to take on water.  Lt. Joseph Schlosser at Coast Guard Station Juneau, said he noticed the craft in the water with the man not wearing a life jacket in the precarious craft.  Neither the man nor the dog were injured once brought aboard a rescue boat, made the traditional way!
