One of the most popular TV shows in history is Game of Thrones, which is coming to an end next year.  But for fans the news that season 7 would be cut from ten episodes to seven would signal a quicker turnaround time.  However production is actually going slower than the previous seasons and the debut is rumored to air this summer, not in April as before.  So why so late?  Is it part of a grand exit?  Or production problems?  Executive producers and showrunners David Benioff and D. B. Weiss say they're taking their time with the last two seasons to get everything just right.  In fact season 7 production was delayed in order to accommodate for the arrival of winter in the show.  So GOT fans, this is a good exercise in patience and good things should come to those who wait!
