Modern technology have made work anxiety a normal part of life.  Feeling like there is too much to do or that the boss has it out for you, work anxiety can lead to an array of health problems including a lack of good sleep.  So if you are waking up in the middle of the night in a panic or can't seem to disconnect when you head hits the pillow, give these strategies a try.  Don’t sleep with your phone next to your bed.  Charge your phone away from your reach at night and return to a traditional alarm clock instead of using your phone.  Removing the temptation of read your phone in bed should help you relax.  Check the next day's agenda at the end of the current day.  Write down a simple (and quick) list of things you want to accomplish the next day. Planning ahead a bit will save you from feeling overwhelmed when you arrive at your desk the next morning. Never underestimate the need for a break.  Much like working through lunch, all work and no play leaves you stressed out.  So take a real break of 10-15 minutes outside or in a quiet place to e-charge.  Finally exercise can be a great way to reduce anxiety.  No time to exercise?  Do a quick lap (or two) around the office parking lot for 10-15 minutes.  Getting up and moving is essential to not only clear your mind but give your body physical activity to de-stress.
