If you think Vitamin C has the power to cure your cold, you're unfortunatley wrong. A review from back in 2007 pooled the results of 29 different studies and found that taking 200 milligrams of vitamin C every single day could make cold symptoms go away about one day sooner, but the benefits ended there. Also, if you don't start taking vitamin C until you're sick, it holds no benefits at all. So if you do catch a cold, your best bet is to fight it off the old fashion way with staying hydrated and rest.
