The US Postal Service will be launching a new nationwide mail notification system that will show the images of the pieces of mail scheduled to be delivered that day to your email box. Informed Delivery aims at making sure your mail is delivered accurately and should help those expecting particular deliveries for the day. The free service will launch nationwide (including Gainesville, Ocala and the heart of Florida) on April 14th.  Postal customers will need to sign up for the free service, which will deliver black and white images of the first 10 pieces of mail, and a link to view the rest if they received more than 10, to any email address of your choice.
