Unwanted Free Cruise Call Could Mean Free Cash For You

August 17, 2017

Quite possibly the sweetest revenge of receiving a robocall is free cash.  A class action lawsuit was filed against Resort Marketing Group, who make unsolicited phone calls on behalf of Carnival, Norwegian or Royal Caribbean cruise lines.  The lawsuit claims the company violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act in making calls using automated dialing equipment and prerecorded messages without permission.  So rather than going to trial the companies decided to settle by paying those who received these calls between July 2009 and March 2014, $300 per call and a maximum payout of $900 per phone number.  Aer you entitled to compensation?  Resort Marketing Group turned over its call records to the court and are searchable online.  Simply enter your phone number here to see if you were contacted [CLICK HERE].  If so, complete the online form to be reimbursed for your troubles.  You have until November 3rd.
