A lot of poor decisions can be attributed to alcohol consumption and with one of the biggest days for drinking coming up with the final football game of the year, its super important you don't drink and drive.  Frito Lay says they have a chip bag that can detect if you've had too much to drink and will even call an Uber for you!  Sounds like a joke or something out of a science fiction novel but limited-edition Tostitos "Party Safe" bags come with a sensor connected to a microcontroller that can detect small traces of alcohol on your breath. If any alcohol is detected, the sensor turns red and forms the image of a steering wheel, along with an Uber code and a "Don't drink and drive" message. If that weren't amazing enough for a tortilla chip bag, it also uses near-field communication (NFC) technology so all you have to do is tap your smart phone to the bag and it will automatically call an Uber and Mothers Against Drunk Driving and Frito Lay will even give you a $10 Uber credit! Frito Lays says its goal is to remove 25,000 cars from the roads that Sunday evening. Whether watching the big game at a friend’s house or at a local bar, a safe ride home is just a few easy taps away. Look for Tostitos Party Safe bags in the chip aisle.
