Usually it's a chore to get the kids to brush their teeth, but is there such a thing as too much teeth brushing?  Yes, say experts who say if you are brushing your teeth longer than two minutes, two to three times a day can damage your choppers, especially using a hard bristle or electric toothbrush. Brushing too often, or even just too vigorously can eventually erode your gum tissue and tooth enamel. Using a back and forth "sawing" motion can also mean bad news for your teeth and gums. Experts recommend brushing with a soft bristled toothbrush in a circular motion and if you are using an electronic toothbrush, ditch the circular and back and forth brushing! The device rotates the bristles for you, so all you have to do is slowly glide it along your teeth.
