What do teens consider cool?  Well Google ask that very question of 1,100 kids aged 13 to 17 and used the results to complete a report, Lit: A Guide To What Teens Think Is Cool.  When teens were asked about the coolest brand, YouTube ranked in at the top of the list.  Other tops brands include Netflix, Google, Oreos, GoPro, Doritos and Nike, while Sunglass Hut, Quicksilver Clothing, WhatsApp and the Wall Street Journal ranked in at the bottom.  Other finds include Coca-Cola cooler than Pepsi, JC Penney cooler than Red Bull.  As for the mobile phone, it's a neck and race with 42.3% owning an iPhone and 41.3 owning an Android. Xbox and PS4 also too close to call on coolness.  Generation Z, as it is called in this report, is the most informed, evolved and empathetic generation of its kind.
