Talking An After Lunch Walk Can Leave You With More Energy All Day

Let’s face it, by the end of today, you'll be exhausted! But not only does this happen on Fridays it happens nearly every day of the week.  So how can you battle tiredness and be more productive?  Try taking a walk after lunch.  That's right, no pills, and no coffee! Researchers say a 15 minute walk not only can lead to improvements in concentration and feeling les tired but your workday tasks seem more enjoyable. Getting out for a moderately paced walk in nature has been shown to have a hangover effect of making you feel more alerts and happier well beyond 5 o'clock.  Not enough time for an after lunch walk, change your schedule to finish work 10-15 minutes earlier.  Even a late day walk has health benefits. The findings have been shared in the Journal of Occupational Health Psychology.
