Surviving A Job You Hate

It is always better to seek a new job when you still have one, even if you really hate your current job. Day after day you dread coming in to work, associating with co-workers and grinding your teeth in meetings.  While you are searching for your next job it can be difficult to keep yourself up in a terrible work environment.  So we've come up with some advice on how to handle working in a job you hate while looking for a new one. First consider the "Law of Attraction," which is the belief that positivity will attract positivity. To keep yourself positive at your horrible job by thinking and acting like you're working at a new job; the job of your dreams. Try and find good in your day.  Although finding anything positive about a job you hate is tough, try and focus of something good.  Although you can't stand your boss, they're car is blue and you love the color blue. Make sure you resume is up to date and includes newly acquired skills. Speaking of your resume, its 2017, your resume should reflect new technologies.  Consider making a resume web site.  Not only does it show you are a forward thinker but it can allow you to include more detail of your skills and sets yourself apart from plain white-paper versions. Exercise helps relieve stress and calm anxieties, so take a walk, a run or Yoga!  Finally, remember you are in control of your destiny and no matter how dark your current situation is, you can set the wheels in motion for a brighter and happier you in the near future!
