Lightning may not strike the same place twice but an Australian has had the unlikely luck of being bit by a spider on his “male member” TWICE in less than half a year.  The 21 year old tradesman first got bit while using a portable toilet on the job site 5 months ago.  Jordan, who preferred not to reveal his last name, said he was sitting on the toilet doing his business when he felt a sting on his penis. The spider was a Redback spider, closely related to the black widow spider and like its cousin, is poisonous. Jordan was rushed to the hospital where he was given antivenom and recovered.  However the experience made him wary of portable toilets but being in construction, your choices are limited when Mother Nature calls. He said Tuesday that he felt it was safe as the toilet since it just had been cleaned and he had given the toilet a close inspection, looking under the seats to make sure there were no spiders.  However spiders can hide well and as fate would have it, be got bit again and nearly in the same place. Jordan was released from the most recent hospital and said he expected to return to work soon but said he was unlikely to ever be using the on-site toilet again.
