It started with Crystal Pepsi, then Zima and now another beverage from the 80s and 90s is set to return in the 21st century! The soda we knew as Slice is coming back!  The fruit-flavored soft drinks manufactured by PepsiCo and introduced in 1984 have been off store shelves for nearly a decade as more people moved away from sugary drinks.  But the 21st century Slice will different than it was in the past.  A Chicago company purchased the brand from PepsiCo and say this version of Slice will be low in sugar and low in calories compared to the old version and will be sweetened with real fruit juice. But the new flavors may be irrelevant as many people simply don't remember what Slice tasted like but remember the iconic logo on a can.  Dormitus Brands and Spiral Sun Ventures say the new slice will be rolling out on store shelves this year across the country.
