Why says science isn't yummy?  While the brightest minds of the world work on improving our lives and world, one professor of physics has solved the perfect mathematical equation for the length of time you need to dunk your cookies in milk for maximum crunch, softness and flavor. In short, you need to submerge your cookie, Oreo or biscuit in liquid (this case milk) for three seconds.  In what many scientists comically dubbed "the goldilocks zone," where the cookie to milk ratio makes sure the cookie is not too hard and not too soft but just right. The results of the study were published in the early 1990s but recently tested by a college class, which confirms the three second dunk rule. Hopefully the research will move on to tackle cereal next!
