Managing your money well can have huge benefits especially when you are seeking to borrow money.  No one knows this better than the residents of The Villages.  According to WalletHub, people in The Villages have the highest credit score in the country, with an average FICO score of 778. The Fair Isaac Corporation rates every potential borrower of money with a  score based on how credit is used, ranging from 300 to 850, with a high score meaning those borrowers enjoy lower interest rates, which can save you thousands of dollars in interest and fees. WalletHub compared the average credit scores of residents in over 2,000 in October 2016 based using TransUnion data.  As for Gainesville and Ocala, Ocala ranked #1338 with an average credit score of 669 and Gainesville ranked #1395 with an average score of 669.
