Ocala Teen Makes Debut On Jeopardy! Teen Tournament Tonight

It seems that the smarts of those living in the Heart of Florida continues to be showcased to the nation.  In September Sharren Gibbs of Gainesville ended a 10 year journey to be a contestant on the TV gameshow, Jeopardy!  Now it’s Leeyu Addisu of Ocala's turn.  The 14 years old Vanguard high School freshman is the youngest contestant in this year’s “Jeopardy! Teen Tournament”, which started Wednesday and continues through November 22nd. She makes her debut as a contestant on tonight's episode at at 7pm on WFTV channel 9 in the Ocala area and 7:30pm on CBS 4 in the Gainesville area.  Leeyu was one of hundreds of teens aged from 14 to 17 vying for a slot on the show, with the overall champion taking home $100,000!
