Be careful of getting to carried away singing your favorite song as one driver in Canada found out.   Taoufik Moalla was driving to get a bottle of water in Montreal when C+C Music Factory's "Gonna Make You Sweat" came on the radio. he turned up the radio and began to sing along with it (and who wouldn't) when all of the sudden the lights of a police car came up behind him.  Thinking they wanted to pass, he moved over to the right side of the road and stop.  But the police cruiser didn't pass.  Out came four police officers, with two on each side of his car.  One of the officers asked him if he was in trouble to which Moalla responded "no, I'm just singing."  Moalla said police though he may have been in trouble, such a being kidnapped or held against his will as for the reason to stop him.  They checked his license and registration and then came back with a surprise, a ticket for $149 for screaming in public! Apparently there is a “peace and tranquility” law in Montreal that "“to cause disorder by screaming” can be punishable by a fine of $50 to $1,000 for a first offense and $100 to $2,000 for subsequent infractions. But Moalla isn't upset at the police as he said they were just doing their job and he has already contested the ticket. He plans to recount how he got the ticket to the judge.
