Man Dresses as 12 foot CVS Receipt For Halloween

November 2, 2016

By now you've had a chance to see pictures of your friends Halloween costumes.  From cute to creepy to hilarious.  But you've got to hand it to Jeremy Schneider on making an epic costume, a CVS receipt.  Yes that seemingly never-ending receipt for a pack of gum was the inspiration for this year and it started when he purchased a pack of Altoids. Out came the long receipt filled with coupons and even a $1 extra buck, good for a dollar of anything in the store.  Off Jeremy went to create his costume.  He scanned his receipt into his computer, enlarged it, broke it up into 42 pieces of paper and used yard sticks on the sides of it to give it some stiffness to create a 12ft human-size receipt.  The bet part was Jeremy walking into his San Diego, California CVS as a CVS receipt to the delight of customers and employees who instantly break out their phones for a photo opportunity.  But it wasn't a social visit, Jeremy did need to buy some trick-or-treat candy, which he grabbed and headed towards the checkout and asking if his enlarged CVS bucks could be used.  Sure enough with a quick scan, he received a dollar off his candy...and another long receipt for the purchase.
