Drive troughs have worked for restaurants, so why not for department stores?  Target has launched Target Drive Up, a service that lets you order your stuff online and pull in to a parking spot where a Target employee will hand over your goods!  The best part is this new and limited service is available at both Target stores in Gainesville and Ocala. According to Target, you do your shopping via the Target app and make your payment.  The app will them offer a "Drive Up" option.  Once you select it, Target will send you a push notification that your order is ready for pick up. The final step is for you to notify Target that you are "On the Way" to pick up.  It will tell you where to park and an employee will be waiting to place your bagged items in your trunk!  Target plans to expand its Drive Up service to more than 1,000 stores by the end of 2018.
