Little Big Lies, The Handmaid's Tale & SNL Win Big At Emmys

The Emmy were held last night with HBO's Big Little Lies and Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale picking up 8 awards each including best limited series and best drama respectfully. But it was Saturday Night Live big night with the comedy show picking up 9 awards total including Alec Baldwin's win as Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series and Kate McKinnon winning Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. As for lead Actor and Actress, Donald Glover won for his portrayal as Ern in the FX series, Atlanta and Julia Louis-Dreyfus winning for the HBO series Veep. Sterling K. Brown won Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama series for playing Randall Pearson in, This Is Us and Elisabeth Moss winning Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series as Offred in The Handmaid's Tale. It caps a big year for SNL, which had its highest ratings in over 20 years.
