Migraine headaches are one of the most painful headaches you could have, which are often accompanied by nausea and sensitivity to light and sound. So treating it with light sounds like an oxymoron but a new study claims that green LED light therapy might cure the pain.  Doctors at the University of Arizona have been working with light therapy and found that a group of migraine sufferers who were subjected to looking at green light from led bulbs for one to two hours a day for ten weeks had their pain levels drop by 40% to 50%. Doctors are unsure of the correlation of the green light and reduction migraine pain but it appears to be a preventable treatment for the 3 million cases of migraine headaches a year.
