Gravy Recalls Hours before Thanksgiving

Gravy is to turkey as peanut butter is to jelly and now a headache recall hours before the biggest gravy day of the year.  Heinz is recalling about 500 cases of its HomeStyle Bistro Au Jus Gravy that has been mislabeled as pork gravy.  Although it sounds harmless enough, the mislabeled pork gravy contains milk and soy, which could be a problem for those allergic to those ingredients. The voluntary recall for consumers affects only the 12oz glass jars that are labeled best by Dec. 28, 2017 with a UPC code of 013000798907. If you have one of these jars, return it to the store you purchased it from for a full refund. So far no one has become sick and it does not affect the more popular turkey gravy for Thanksgiving.
