A Gainesville woman has twerked her way to jail after refusing to turn down her music over the weekend.  Gainesville Police Department (GPD) responded to a loud noise complaint a little after 3am Saturday morning, where they allegedly found 35 year old Danielle Lanae Jefferson dancing the night away.  When the officer asked Danielle to turn down the music, she responded by twerking on her car. Police gave her a warning to turn the music down within 15 minutes but she responded by giving another bit of twerking and even telling police they could arrest her if they wanted.  Rather than arrest her, GPD issued her a noise violation citation, to which Danielle allegedly crumped it up and threw it at the officer.  That led to her being arrested for resisting an officer without violence.  Danielle's reason for not turning down the music?  She thought the GPD officer was cute and wanted to keep him around to "argue".  Danielle was released from the Alachua County Jail later that day.
