A new warning from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for parents with children that are teething not to use homeopathic teething treatments. The warning was issued late last week after new data collected shows herbal remedies for teething have a high risk of causing seizures in infants and parents are urged not to use these products and consult their pediatrician. Many stores have already pulled homeopathic teething tablets and gels from shelves as the FDA orders more testing to find out what in these natural remedies are causing seizures.  Other warning signs include seizures, difficulty breathing, lethargy, excessive sleepiness, muscle weakness, skin flushing, constipation, and difficulty urinating. If your child experiences any of these symptoms, seek immediate medical attention.
