Maybe it's time to make the switch from coffee to tea, in particular black teas such as English Breakfast and Green Tea as they apparently excellent for weight loss and well-being. A study says suggests that black and green tea can boost your metabolism, which can aid in weight loss by reducing levels of intestinal bacteria associated with obesity and increasing those linked to lean body mass. The study found that weight loss lab rats receiving either black or green tea extract see their weight drop to the same level as those having a low-fat diet. However a twist is that black tea actually may be little better for gut health than green tea.  That is because it is thought the good bacteria molecules found in tea are a bit larger in the black varieties, which mean they linger a bit longer in your digestive system than that of green tea. The results suggest that both green and black teas are prebiotics, substances that induce the growth of good microorganisms that contribute to a person's well-being.
