Eggs & Bacon Can Help You Lose Weight

The New Year is filled with ads for weight loss and diets but this one may be a diet you can work with! According to new research that suggests a feast of eggs in the morning could be the key to losing weight. The study found women are eating 14 grams less and men are eating 10 grams less than protein recommendations and that protein is mostly eaten at dinner time. So the research suggests increasing your protein intake and spacing it out through the day.  Even simpler is by adding two eggs to your diet a day, you add 12 grams of protein, which is what is missing from our diets. As for bacon, leaner cuts such as Canadian bacon offer the power of protein without the saturated fat of bacon.
