Dragon Is Such A Common Password That Hackers Use It Regularly

By now you know easy and common passwords are dangerous in the protection of your identity. Online security company, SplashData released the most popular passwords list, which still include longtime mainstays like 123456, qwerty, and, of course, password. However there is another common password regularly used and always makes the top 20 easily hacked passwords, dragon. Just why so many internet users using dragon to unlock their accounts? People often base their passwords on something that's important to them, says security consultant Mark Burnett. Between D&D, Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones, the mythical creature we call dragon is embedded in our popular culture.  It is an important reminder to select passwords that are not commonly used, including pop culture references. The most secure password isn’t even a word.  Experts say creating a phrase or acronym, not capitalizing the first letter and using a number/character combination.
