The potato chip get a bad rap for being an unhealthy snack choice but champions of the crunch, there is one thing potato chips are good for and its curing cramps!  Wait, what? Chicago Cubs pitcher, Jason Hammel brought it to the attention of a hungry nation as he apparently had chronic hand cramps; so bad he had to sit out for a few weeks. Under the advice of his doctor, Jason cured his cramping by eating potato chips, which are high in potassium and salt, which if your diet is low in potassium, magnesium or calcium, you could be more likely to experience cramps. Potatoes happen to be a great source of potassium, even after being deep fried. Aside from that, potassium also helps reduce your blood pressure and lowers your risk for stroke.
