There have been many ways to cheat while playing cards but this scheme goes beyond sticking an Ace up your sleeve.  Police in Germany have uncovered a cheating restaurant owner that marked 13 playing cards laced with iodine-125, radioactive a substance used in medicine. The scheme was discovered when a routine check at a waste treatment facility uncovered an increased level of radioactivity in the trash.  The contaminated garbage was traced back to a restaurant in Berlin and the discovery of the cards.  It's unclear what the cards were used for but it's a safe assumption they were used to cheat as the radioactive dye can easily be seen with special glasses. The restaurant has been closed while it is decontaminated and it is unknown how many people have been exposed.
