Certain 4-Packs of Macaroni and Cheese Bowls Recalled

Another round of food recalls as milk powder contained in various store-brand macaroni and cheese packages, produced by Treehouse Foods, may be contaminated with Salmonella, which can cause diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps for days. The recalled macaroni and cheese packages includes 4-packs of:

  • (Rite Aid) Big Win Original Macaroni & Cheese Dinner: Best By Date of 10/25/2017
  • (Aldi) Cheese Club Express Mac Macaroni & Cheese Dinner: Best By dates between 11/3 and 11/28/2017
  • (Walmart) Great Value Macaroni & Cheese Original Cups: Best By dates between 10/22 and 11/21/2017

Older adults, infants, and those who have impaired immune systems are at highest risk. If yuo have any of these packages in your pantry, return them to the store where they were purchased for a full refund.  You can also contact the manufacturer, Treehouse Foods, at 800-756-5781. According to the FDA, No illnesses have been reported to date.
