The Cause For The "Earthquakes" Off The Coast of Florida

July 19, 2016

If you felt the Earth move Saturday afternoon around 4, it wasn't in your head.  In a strange report, the US Geological Survey reported a 3.7 magnitude earthquake about 100 miles off the coast of Daytona Beach Shores.  It was the second time an earthquake hit off the coast of Florida in the past two months. However, they were no earthquakes. US Navy officials confirm the latest event actually a man-made explosion designed to test the new U.S. Navy combat ship, USS Jackson. Last Saturday's event was caused by a 10,000-pound explosive charge designed to test the ship's ability withstand the effects of nearby underwater explosion and still be functional.  There is no other word if further testing will be made.
