It's true! You can have too much of a good thing and that's bad for your body.  Experts say overusing these products can be harmful and embarrassing to you in the long term.  Gradual tanning lotions are one of them. While applying them more to get that bronzed look faster sound ok, the enzymes that causes that color take some time to activate.  So over applying means you'll go past beautiful bronze to Oompa Loompa orange. Petroleum Jelly should be used sparingly as it isn't absorbed into your skin.  It acts like a barrier to keep moisture in your skin but it also prevents your skin from breathing and can lead to drier skin in the end. Conditioner is great for adding moisture back into your hair but they can make your hair heavy, oily and dull if not completely rinsed out.  So for long hair (which can take some time to get all the conditioner out, use it only on your longest part of your hair to control the frizz and keep your newer hair from being weighed down. Magnifying Mirrors is not a product per se but it can be harmful.  Not only do they make you obsessive about every single flaw, but they promote over tweezing of the brows as well as picking and popping of blemishes. Stick to checking your brows for strays every three days and never, ever focus in on a zit.
