Tonight parent's remorse takes a back seat as a recent poll found that 86% of parents shamelessly steal candy from their children's Halloween haul! A poll of two thousand people found out that although we limit how many pieces our kids can have, we go full force candy-binge, especially when they go to bed! Parents admit to sneaking a few pieces of their child's candy stash without them noticing, insisted on inspecting' the candy and hiding some for themselves, pretended the candy had gone bad, and even blamed the missing pieces on someone else! Regardless if they have kids, the survey found 73% of adults purchase extra Halloween candy to binge on themselves. The results confirmed that Halloween isn't just for kids with four in 10 adults say they enjoy the holiday even more now than when they were a child. Although many throw caution into the wind, seven in 10 parents enforce a stricter teeth-brushing and -flossing routine on Halloween and 41% compensate for Halloween candy by serving a healthier dinner on the holiday itself or the next night.
