Let's face it, New Year's resolutions are doomed to fail.  The average resolution is canned just 12 days into the New Year. Perhaps it's the over-zealous promise of change with the changing of the year but more likely is even in Florida, winter can de-rail your self-improvement goals due to cloudy days, cooler temperatures and the holiday hangover. So put your resolution(s) on hold and start them April 1. By then the days are longer, warmer and there's a better chance you will succeed.  Plus there are just more activates going on, which can be a nice distraction when you're trying to quit smoking, drinking or other bad habits!
