This Thursday marks two week until Thanksgiving and if you are not hosting a feast, you'll be attending one. Good manners dictate you bring something to the host. A side, dessert, a good bottle of wine re all obviously good choices, but you can be a real hero by bringing serving utensils.  Think about it, even the he most enthusiastic home cooks rarely serve meals that require more than two or three serving spoons, so it’s unlikely their kitchen is stocked with the large format cutlery required for Thanksgiving Day. Though you might not be providing a dish, you can still contribute with a couple of serving spoons, and maybe a big ol’ fork or pie server. If you are bringing a side or dessert, grab the appropriate utensil for whatever dish you’re bringing, then grab an extra, because someone is going to forget their casserole scoop, green bean spatula, or salad tongs. Your host will greatly appreciate your initiative.
