Prepare Your Pet For Daylight Saving Time

This weekend's time change is hard enough on us humans, but our pets don’t know that the time has changed, so they’ll be confused when their schedule is a bit off too. You can make the transition to Daylight Saving Time for your pet easier by starting to prepare now. Since it’s spring, we’ll be “springing forward” and moving our clocks ahead an hour. That means a pup who normally wakes you up at 7 a.m. will, if you don’t make any adjustments, be sound asleep until eight. So begin adjusting your pet’s schedule now. Get up ten minutes earlier each day, and adjust other events, like mealtimes, by the same amount. This way, your pet will be ready when the clocks change this Sunday. As a bonus, you’ll be better adjusted to the time change yourself.
