Enjoy An In-Ground Swimming Pool Created From A Shipping Container

May 22, 2019

Summer is just around the corner and that means we'll be seeking out way to cool down.  One of them is a backyard pool and while an inflatable pools do the job, they aren't the nicest things to see in the yard.  While an in-ground swimming pool adds value to your house, they are not cheap.  Thankfully a company called Modpools, can make your dream of having an beautiful in-ground pool and/or hot tub a reality thanks to an affordable and eco-friendly system of turning old shipping containers into swimming pools! Traditional in-ground pools are notoriously a headache to install. They come with seemingly millions of parts, there's digging (and waiting), molding (and waiting) and waiting that can eat up an entire summer.  However using old shipping containers are very simplistic, according to Modpools that can generally be used the same day they're installed. Not to mention you will be recycling an item that’s already been made into something else with very little additional environmental impact. Perhaps the best news for homeowners is the price.  While traditional in-ground pools range from $35,000 to $62,000, a shipping container pool costs $16,500 to $40,000 depending on the size and they come with heaters, automatic cleaners and LED lights. The company says you can expect delivery in 10 weeks and if you decide to purchase another house, you can take your pool with you to your new home!

Pool season is almost here! We hope this fun family Modpool in LA inspires you! #swimspa #swimming #poolgoals #modpools #pooldesign #swimmingpool #containerpools
