Make Sure To Drink Enough Water Today

When it comes to how much water you should drink, health authorities commonly recommend the 8×8 rule, which is eight 8-ounce glasses, which equals about 2 liters, or half a gallon. However there is growing evidence that a standard amount of daily water consumption is inaccurate and for many people, eight 8oz glasses is simply not enough.  A more accurate way to determine how much water you should drink is to take your weight and divide it by two to identify the number of ounces of water you should drink per day. However most doctors will tell you to listen to your body. However be careful that too much water can be just as dangerous as not enough.  Drinking too much water in a short amount of time can cause an imbalance of electrolytes and can be fatal. Rather than knocking back glass after glass, keep a water bottle next to you and sip mindfully throughout the day.
