A luxury experience on the tropical island usually comes with luxury prices, but this summer, one lucky person will get an all-expenses-paid stay at the Maldives to look after sea turtles! The Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu resort is seeking a summer intern to work at its turtle rescue center for 14 days in August. During that time, you'll be responsible for feeding the animals, cleaning their tanks, and being present for surgeries. You may also have the opportunity to help release rehabilitated turtles into the ocean and go on rescue missions to collect vulnerable specimens in need of care. In your free time, you’ll be expected to post about the gig on social media. The internship is unpaid, but it comes with many valuable perks that aren't offered by typical summer jobs. Flights, meals at the hotel's restaurant, and accommodations in a villa will be provided. When not working with turtles, you can take advantage of some free activities offered by the resort, such as a sunset cruise, a beach BBQ, and a snorkeling tour of the Baa Atoll. If you're 18 or older, you can apply for the internship by submitting a two- to three-minute video and a 500-word cover letter explaining why you're the best person for the job. One candidate will be selected to fly out to the resort at a negotiable date some time in August. To apply, CLICK HERE.
