Improve Your Phone Photos With This Setting

May 24, 2019

It is incredible how good the camera is on your iPhone. Point and click for a fantastic photo, especially on the newer models that offers pictures as good as those big DSLR camera professionals use. But if you want to boost your photo game to the next level, there’s another, simple way to take balanced, professional-looking photo by turning on a setting you may not have known was there in the first place. For instantly better pictures, turn on your phone’s grid setting, which places a 9-square overlay on the camera app as a guide. Every photographer knows a good photo is all about the right composition. In fact the pros use the "rule of thirds" in their photos. It states that an image should be imagined as divided into nine equal parts by two equally spaced horizontal lines and two equally spaced vertical lines. The photo grid allows you to set it up rendering you a pro-level picture that feel balanced and well-composed. The grid setting is easy to turn on. Open the setting app, tap “photos and camera” or “camera,” depending on your iOS, find “Grid” and toggle “on” and you're set to  capture this Memorial Day weekend like none before!
