Your junior year of high school can be one of the most stressful in all of your life.  That's because most students take the SAT and/or ACT college admission test and in order to be accepted you must have a decent test score. Fortunately Varsity Tutors, an online service that matches students with tutors, is offering free SAT and ACT online prep courses starting next week. Each prep course contains ten live sessions, access to a mobile app, a test-prep ebook, a program that measures their proficiency on different concepts, full practice exams and weekly office hours to ask questions or get individual help. The next ACT class starts September 24, 2019 and will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Central Time (7 to 9:30 p.m. Eastern Time). The next SAT class starts September 30, 2019 and will be held every Monday and Wednesday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Central Time (7 to 9:30 p.m. Eastern Time). There is also another round of free prep beginning in December. Schools that require standardized testing in their application process will accept either test score and it may not be a bad idea to take both tests to increase their likelihood of excelling on at least one of them. Not only can it increase your chances of attending the college of your dreams, but higher test scores can also improve their chances of landing merit-based scholarships.
