Firefox To Automatically Mute Autoplay In Tabs

Few things are more annoying when surfing the internet than some random video autoplaying in one of your 10,000 open tabs. Thankfully, Firefox users will finally be able to visit a new website without an autoplay ads lasts through your speakers starting next month. According to Mozilla, the makers of Firefox, the web browser will block any audible autoplay audio or video on a newly opened website tab once their Firefox66 software update is loaded on your computer or Android hone on March 19th. Firefox join the other web browsers who also automatically mute autoplay ads as Apple's Safari did in September 2017, Google's Chrome did last April and Microsoft's Edge last October.
