It is a fact that more employers are searching social media histories before hiring associates and even firing current employees for their poor judgments of the past.  Considering Facebook has been around for 14 years, those seemingly innocent post of you out on the town doing juvenile things can cost you a dream job today.  But sifting through 14 years of posts can be daunting, but worth it, there is a Google Chrome extension that can make cleaning up your online act easy.  Social Book Post Manager [CLICK HERE] is a downloadable extension that works on Chrome that allows you to delete all your posts on the social network before a specific date, or specify the types of posts using key words you’d like to delete through word search. The tool will bring up all the posts that match your specific criteria, and then you can pick and choose which ones to keep and which ones to delete or make private. There is a post deleting service for Twitter called Cardigan [CLICK HERE] that reviews the most recent 3,200 tweets and lets you delete them individually or all together. You can also “unlike” tweets either selectively or all at once.
