Cheap Ways To Spruce Up For Home For Sale

September 24, 2019

Remodeling your kitchen, giving your bathroom a major makeover and adding a wood deck are all heavy-hitting renovation projects that, hopefully, end up increasing the value of your home when it comes time to sell. But there are some lighter projects that can add value and give you a nice ROI without a lot of out-of-pocket cash. Turn your home into a smart home. Smart doorbell, thermostats and smart door locks and cameras can be done by you and for just a few hundred dollars. Not only are they features that are becoming more popular for buyers, but if you end up staying in your home, smart technology can save you money by ensuring the heating and cooling are working at the appropriate hours. Replace the burner pans on your stove. Not only do they make your stove look fresh again, they are just a few bucks. Switch plates, sockets, and light switches get a lot of use over time and tend to look grungy at the time of sale. Replacing them is quick, cheap, and easy and it goes a long way. Replace your bulbs with LEDS. Not only are they brighter, but they turn on instantly and don’t take time to warm up like the older CFLs.
